Our request for prayer is centered in the reality that the gospel of Jesus Christ changes lives through this ministry – that can imply the lives of patients, participants, donors, volunteers, and others involved. The prayers of our MMI family are the fuel behind the work of caring for the spiritual and physical needs of the world’s poor.
Through prayer the MMI family joins God and each other at work around the globe. Participants pray for patients and communities while serving on missions. Numerous others faithfully pray for MMI work daily – from their homes and at their churches. Our work incorporates care in permanent centers around the globe, ongoing medical projects that typically deploy 3,000 volunteers annually, and our training of indigenous doctors through our residency training programs!
